If you mean accurate by "good", then a good Bible translation is a hard thing to find indeed simply because they are translations. And not only is language involved but cultural differences and those over time compounds the roblem to find a decent translation.

Having said that, it is worthwhile not to depend on a single translation, and do as much research as possble on the culture who produced the Bible. But I like the Jerusalem Bible and (which is dfferent translations altogether fom) the New Jerusalem Bible which is actually a Catholic sponsored undertaking). I enjoy the Torah by Fox. I tend to like Bibles that not only are literal, and sensitive of biblical culture, but also try to maintain Hebrew names as opposed to the anglicizations most of us are unfortunately used to. Learn some Hebrew, compare as many as you can. Thanks for your question. Sorry for the wait.

My family will not do as the world does and celebrate a false Sabbath. We celebrate as the Israel of old did and that is from sunrise to sunrise. Saturday to Sunday morning. There are very few Israelites today who still celebrate their Sabbath correctly, and I say that is sad. It only takes a little research to prove that the Pharisees set a fixed day and went from Yahs original day beginning at sunrise to changing to sunset reckoning. Seek Yah and the truth will set you free.
