The belief that James the brother of Messiah was a vegetaian presents problems that people have over looked. If James did not eat meat, then he did not eat the required Passover lamb each year in Jerusalem. If he did not eat the Passover lamb we can certainly eliminate him as being rigtheous and being the leader of the Followers of Messiah.

The belief that James was a vegetarian is the opinion of those trying to promote their own views and not God's view. Torah specificaly allows for people to eat meat (Deu. 14:4-8)and even requires people to offer and eat meat offerings in the Temple of God to include the future Temple, Ezekiel's. (40:38-43; 43:13,18-26; 45:15, 17, 20; 46:24) While the Temple may not exist now, to promote vegetarinism is to contradict the Word of God.
